Thyroid Misfiring? Tired of being Tired? Don't Fall Asleep On This Post!

Hello, MnSue here in sunny Phoenix, Arizona this week!

Thank you for the gift of beautiful sunny 70-80 degree days! I am enjoying this lovely weather and the welcoming homes!

Today, I want to write about the thyroid and when it goes willy wompas and wants to work overtime and wipes us out. Or put it this way, tries to work overtime and shuts down.

One can drink all the energy drinks out there and you will still feel depleted.

So, time to see my doctor and get some blood work drawn and the results known. Sometimes, the thyroid can play tricks on us, so I make sure to get a follow up one done, a month or so later, at a different time of day.

Here are some of the symptoms to clue me in on a sluggish thyroid;

  • Difficulty with either not being able to loose weight or gain
  • Bulging eyes
  • Flush easily
  • High temperatures irritate one
  • Mentally/physically tired
  • Hair loss
  • Tires out easily
  • Racing Pulse when not moving
  • Trembling on the inside
  • SADD (seasonal sadness)
  • Tired in the daytime, day after day
  • Rough dry skin on bottom of feet
  • Sweating
  • Enlarged thyroid gland

Not that these are all the symptoms but they can be a starting point with the doctor. I would make a list of my symptoms, questions and concerns.

When results come in and if my thyroid is off, this is what I would do.

Start off with a good whole body cleanse, Cleansing Trio. Getting rid of chlorine and fluorine from the body and other build up of toxins. As chlorine and flourine attach to iodine and deplete your body of it.

Next, I would make sure not to drink water or juices with chlorine & fluorine in it.

Third, I would add iodine product (Sea Salt with Iodine) and other sea food, to my regime and start with Young Living's products called Thyromin, Multigreens or juicing with organic greens, one of the shakes and UltraYoung Spray.

After that, I would work in the oils, in the beginning multiple times a day by muscle testing which essential oils are best for me of the following:

Frankincense, Lemongrass, Myrtle, or Lavender, Ledum, Myrrh, Clove, Spruce, Endoflex, Transformation, Valor, Envision, Inspiration, Surrender or Awaken.

Putting the oils on before bed between the times of 9 -11 will help the oils work optimally. First, on feet, below the biggest toe, on bend between the toe and the rest of the foot. On the V shape under the chin, in neck line(right over the thyroid).

Lastly, I would be reminding myself to drink plenty of water, good sleeping pattern and a good nutritional supplements that I can trust the company I buy from, like Young Living Essential Oils.

MnSue leaving you to enjoy the day~

P.S.  I would be remembering to do follow up with my doctor, to monitor how my thyroid is functioning.

Thank you to LeAnne Deardeuff, DC with her book on "Ultimate Balance" Infusing the Vibrational Energy of Essential Oils into Chakras, Meridians and Organs

Reference Guide for Essential Oils compiled by Connie and Alan Higley

One can purchase these books at www.abundanthealth4u.com and learn all about how to work in depth even more on the thyroid. I love the simple diagrams and the different ideas LeAnne Deardeuff has to work with ones body, in her book. I love both of these books and have used the reference one for years now.

7 Top Reasons Enzymes Should Be In YOUR Diet!

Hello, MnSue here with a few tips on why enzymes should be in everyone's diet.

I have put out a couple of tips on my fanpage on Facebook(www.facebook.com/oilstoday) why Young Living Enzymes should be in your diet and now I feel it is a good time to blog about the 7 top reasons.

First of all, here is why enzymes are needed in the diet. In this article, it is explained from this website posting (http://www.naturesenzymes.com/?page_id=1556 ), in nature, how enzymes work, very similar to our bodies.

"Enzymes are part of a group of organic proteins known as amino acids and are found in all living things. They are as old as life itself. Without enzymes, there would be no life. If enzymes were totally absent, then life would cease. When there is a partial reduction of availability of enzymes, then life is reduced. They are ‘activists’. All activity of life depends on them. The greening of leaves in spring, the ripening of foods, the digestion and absorption of food — all require enzymes. Without enzymes, seeds could not sprout and the soil could not produce, therefore fruits and crops would not ripen or grow."

1) First of all, our bodies work really hard to heal and if we are working on a particular area of the body to heal, all the more reasons to take enzymes, to lighten the load for repairing.

2) Enzymes can speed the rate of healing.

3) Enzymes can help give the body a much needed rest when breaking down foods in the stomach and else where, so the body can continue to give the much needed energy into the area needing for healing and not have to slow down to send energy to the digestive track.

4)Yet, they also can help in the area also needing help to heal. So, they can be simultaneously be working all over the body for different areas. Here again is a simplified form of what they do,
"Enzymes as a whole are the “take charge” catalysts. They perform an action, but do not become part of the action. An analogy is using a fire to cook some food. The fire is comparable to an enzyme in that the fire cooks the food but does not become part of it. You do not eat the fire. Yet, without the fire you would not be able to cook it."

I personally think, that enzymes have not been given much recognition for the part they play in ones body, so they haven't been noticed for the amazing ability they have. When combined with Young Living Essential Oils they can pack a pretty powerful punch in aiding the bodies reaction to diseases of the body. Yet again, from this same website they go on to explain where the enzymes work in nature, very similar to our body.

"All bacteria can carry an enzyme. Hybrid bacteria produce selective enzymes like pectinase, cellulose, lipase and protease. Mother Nature produces these plus hundreds of others. Each type of enzyme is engineered to function differently; one specific enzyme cannot do the task of another. In a pond we have leaf litter, grass clippings, organic pond sediment (muck), etc. Each contaminant is different and needs a specific enzyme to digest its matter. So if one type of bacteria does not work in a particular water garden situation (each has different needs), then it’s important to try another. Mother Nature’s bacteria functions better than that if hybrid bacteria because of the broad spectrum of enzymes she produces."

5) Just as we feed our body many different types of food, there is different enzymes in Essentialzyme-4 from Young Living to help break them down. Essentialzyme-4 can break down fats, fiber, carbohydrates, proteins and processed food. Another beneficial bonus of Essentialzymes-4 is that it is infused with essential oils to soothe the digestive track also.

6)  Sulfurzyme another good product is great in that it has enzymes combined with MSM and another day I will blog on the benefits of MSM. Enzymes in this product are geared more for the whole body, not just the digestive track. I love to take 2-4 of these daily, prefer in the morning and then the with the last meal of the day.

7) Last but not least, add in enzymes to your quarterly body cleanses. Enzymes really boost the body when working so hard at getting rid of things it doesn't need. It also needs support and balancing of the body when doing cleansing. Enzymes again, help the body detoxify. I like to use Young Living's products like "Complete Balance" or the "Cleansing Trio" to detoxify. Otherwise Detoxyme, Digest & Cleanse are a couple other single products to use.

Enzymes play an important part in ones body, to keep it working optimally. So give YOUR body a break and add enzymes to your daily regime.

Until the next blog~

Enjoy your day, I will as it is sunny and close to 80 here in Arizona today!

Do You Have 101 Empty Essential Oil Bottles?

Hello, MnSue here!

With so many ways to go green now a days with our empty containers from our food and personal use, keep in mind you can recycle them brown glass bottles from Young Living also.

But before you do that, you can do a few things with those little bottles.

1) You can continue to use them for smelling. They work great for just having in a container for friends and family if they wonder what one smells like, without having to open a new one or give your bottle away.

2)  You can also add a little from your full bottle into an empty one, to give some away, for someone to sample.

3) You can put the empty containers into a tub to have a great cocktail of Young Living Essential Oils in your bath water. Remember to add a carrier like Bath and Shower Gel from Young Living, Epsom Salt, Bath Salt, baking soda or something similar so they don't just float on the top of the water.

4) You can use in your shows/booths for letting others smell the scents, without having to display your new bottles on the table for fear of the new bottles being opened.

5) Make room sprays with them, adding them to a bucket of very warm water, Epsom salt/baking soda, and the empty bottles and caps. Then pore the water into a spray bottle for room sprays.  Label with contents.

6) You can divide up a full bottle of oils into few empty ones for different rooms (like one for my bedside, one for the kitchen, bathroom and office).

7) Use them in cooking, baking and drinks, by adding a teaspoon of of a good vegetable oil to the bottle and use in cooking. Remember to write on cap, diluted for cooking. :)

8) Carry them in your purse, car, bag, suitcase or wherever you may need them when out and about to refresh the air or need to be uplifted, or to have others smell them also.

9) Use them to make cleaning supplies. Like the empty Thieves, Lemon bottles can be rinsed out in very warm almost hot water and baking soda. Kept in a spray bottle for cleaning the counters, toilets, floors, etc. Remember to label.  The Thieves Empty Spray bottles work great for this also.

10) Make bath salts.

11) Use in water to diffuse in any room.

12) Make candles.

13) Bath bombs.

14) Make potpourri.

15) Last but not least, remember to recycle them where they recycle brown glass. These little bottles all add up and don't take up much space in the recycle bin for size.

I am sure you can find more ways to use the last few drops in Young Living Essential Oil bottles then what I came up with.  I am just letting you start your creative juices with a little leftover Young Living Essential Oil in them.

Like I love to demo out to my kids when baking.

They think they have all the cupcake batter out of the bowl, I take the scraper and get enough for one more cupcake. So imagine what is on the inside of that little brown glass bottle of essential oil, maybe a few drops or more?

Enjoy your day and I hope I have given you some more drops of oil to use!

Flying On An Airplane? Ear Pressure? Sinus Pressure?

Hello, MnSue here with another fun blog!

I started my journey some years ago with Young Living Essential Oils. Over the last few years I have been getting back to sharing the knowledge, I have gained. So nice when you can find simple remedies to help with something that can cause so much pain and with me, hearing loss!

A few years back I was traveling and must have had a head infection, of some sort. My head got plugged up and didn't clear, until a week after flying. During the flight, I had a constant stinging around the ears and jawline. I had so much pressure built up, my head felt like it would explode out from the ears. All I could do was hold my head down, to hide the tears. It hurt so bad. Well, it ended up with a 30% loss in my left ear after two flights back to back. That isn't so bad you say, well for me it was. I am already at a total hearing loss in my right ear. So, I am okay with it, until I cannot hear you speak to me!

With knowing my past, I have been hesitant to fly again.

I took the baggie full of liquids we are allowed on the plane. I had Lavender, Peppermint, Valor, Progessence Plus, Peace and Calming, Slique(new oil blend for appetite control, as of this blog posting, one can only buy it with the new Slique Weight Loss Kit from Young Living), Lemon and a few others.

Well, when the plane was ready for take off, I told my companions in the same row as me, "Excuse me but I am going to be putting on some essential oils for pressure relief when we go up, I hope you do not mind." They both said, "No, go ahead, by all means." So I continued on and applied the Valor roll on. I rolled it around my ears (careful not to go next to my hearing aid so it will not get wrecked from moisture) on the bone. Then I went under the jaw bone and over, up into the temple area. Then I went to my neck(front and back) and rolled it on all the muscles that were tight.

Wow! It loosened up the muscles in the neck area and I felt relaxed, already. I then took the Peace and Calming and applied a drop on my left wrist. Then I rubbed my left wrist on the right wrist and inhaled Peace and Calming, off of my wrists, deeply. How relaxing! I think I was not the only one who calmed down on this drop of Peace and Calming. My fellow travelers on each side of me, seemed to relax too.

I did this on every flight I took, which totaled three. It worked on all three of them! Wow, what a relief knowing I found a remedy after numerous other ways I have tried from ear plugs, to sinus meds, from motion sickness tablets to drinking lots of water before flying. I tried too many things to remember them all anymore. I don't care either, what all they were. I am just happy I have found an oil that worked and made my flight a pleasant one!!!

Thank you, Young Living, once again for helping me. The product line is tops!!

Sharing My Passion On Young Living Essential Oils

Hello, MnSue here with a quick tip on whatever you do in life, do it with passion!

Hello friends of mine, I am sure I haven't met all of you in person but I would like to encourage you with your passion in life. Whatever it maybe, in your dreams.

I am a fan of dream boards. I have a dream board and I will add pictures or words to the board as I see fit. My current dream board carries me through to the end of the year. It will be fun to see where I get with my dreams, toward my passion of sharing.

I love to share Young Living Essential Oils for many reasons. One of them is that I CAN share, they are easy to use and help change people's lives for the better. I am sure many of you are like me, in the way we love to help someone feel better. No one likes to feel terrible. So, we do what we can to help out.

On my trip out west this last week, it was funny but I found a new oil to help with the pressure in the ears. Oh my yes, I will blog about that..so I can help you fellow flyers who suffer with it, like I do. No fun. I have lost hearing after flying twice, some years back. The pain was terrible and felt like my head was going to explode. So, yes, I am happy flyer now!

Anyway, just wanted to incourage you, in whatever your passion is,to share it. Many will say, "no, not interested". But keep going until you find the "Yes, I would love to learn more from you. " Then work with them and share the passion of your work. So simple but many will give up at the first no and bury their passion and dreams. Don't be one of them.

I am so excited that I have been busy enough helping my team grow that my blog has suffered. I am going to start writing in my down time and then blog on them as time permits.

If you would like to see a particular topic covered, with Young Living Essential Oils, let me know. I would love to share what I know, with you.

Have a lovely day, take care ~

MnSue leaving you to carry on.
